Job Purpose:
The CCCM Officer is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) and CCCM (Camp Coordination and Camp Management) projects in the field. The Officer will provide technical support to the team on all WASH & CCCM-related activities, ensure quality control of project activities, monitor progress, and report back to the project manager.

The Officer will provide technical support to the team on all WASH & CCCM-related activities, ensure quality control of project activities, monitor progress, and report back to the project manager.
Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans for CCCM activities in the field.
- Provide technical support to team members on all CCCM related activities.
- Ensure that project activities are implemented according to plan and meet quality standards.
- preparing tables of quantities for water and environmental sanitation activities, as well as tables of quantities related to the maintenance of camps affected by torrents and floods. These tables will outline the required materials, quantities, and costs needed to carry out the activities effectively.
- Coordinating with the local authorities and cluster group on the activities that will be implemented in the IDP camps according to the CCM interventions.
- Prepare planning and support any water and sanitation needs assessment, available resources, and the capacity of existing systems in IDP sites.

- Ensure management and regular updates of relevant to the project activities information.
- Ensure proper and timely communication with the project manager for project implementation needs through weekly reports or ad hoc requests if needed.
- Support the development of a Bill of Quantities for works, in coordination with the project manager & logistic specialist.
- Supervise the daily implementing tasks and activities including direct supervision for implementing contractors to assure accurate implementation of CCCM interventions.
- Consider gender, protection, and GBV concerns in all aspects of activities.
- Be responsible for the management of beneficiaries and for ensuring that all beneficiaries are comprehensively briefed on the objective, expected output, and overall implementation strategy of any given activity.
- Hiring and supervision of skilled and non-skilled laborers;
- Conduct camp/site risk assessments and create action plans for prompt repair of camp infrastructure.
- Develop joint integrated site risk management plans to promote the health, safety, and environment of sites (camps, collective centers, and other temporary settlements).
- Conduct the technical implementation of site maintenance, covering safe site design or layout, repairs, and risk reduction in camps/sites, the upkeep of shelter, electrical systems, other site facilities and utilities, and the general environment. Monitor work to ensure quality.
- Contribute to the camp/site information management system through appropriate information sharing with all relevant stakeholders in a manner that upholds the principle of confidentiality.
- Implementation of site upgrading and subsequent maintenance
- Submit necessary field reports to the Project team leader (weekly and monthly reports, distribution reports, technical reports, progress report meetings minutes, etc.).
- Support the preparation of technical drawings, specification lists, and Bills of Quantities for rehabilitation and installations.
- Perform other relevant tasks as requested by the Project team leader.
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
- 4 years’ relevant experience in same field.
- Experience at preparing various engineering reports.
- Knowledge and understanding of construction management.
- Experience in preparing Bill of Quantity (BOQ) and budgets.
- 2-3 years of experience in field-related activities, specially, in the field of cash/food for work in the rural areas.
- Experience in working with shelter projects in a humanitarian/recovery context.
- Thinking both creatively and logically to resolve design and development problems.
- Ability to explain design ideas and plans clearly.
- Willing and capable of adopting a questioning attitude.
- Good level of English language both spoken and writing.
- Experience or knowledge of working and living in relevant regions/contexts.
- NGO or humanitarian work experience.
