Distribution Supervisor

Terms of Reference
 
Division           : Programs.
Reports to        : Project Manager.
Location           : Marib.
 
Organization & Background:
YFCA is a leading, Humanitarian, non-Governmental, non-Profit, non-denominational and impartial Organization established in 1976 to improve woman and child health.  Dramatic changes in YFCA mandate were introduced gradually to accommodate the emerging needs of women, children, youth and vulnerable groups.  From that Health perspective, YFCA programs incorporate wider thematic interventions including WASH, Shelter, and Nutrition, Food Security, Agriculture and Livelihood, Education, Early Recovery and Protection. To pursue its unchanging humanitarian mission, YFCA will thoughtfully continue its expansion process to respond to the ever-changing needs of affected communities and vulnerable groups.
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Supervising on all distribution phases.
  • Prepare distribution vouchers and lists (printing, verification).
  • Coordinating with community committees on site-level to ensure proper distribution.
  • Developing distribution plans (locations, time, dates, movement plans).
  • Inform beneficiaries through all necessary channels, under project management supervision.
  • Select and train Distributors.
  • Improve distribution procedures according to the context, standards, Humanitarian Principles, and feedback received from Field Monitor.
  • Support Field Monitor in Complaint Management and Feedbacks.
  • Submit daily, weekly and monthly reports to the project management.
  • Any other work assigned by supervisor.
Implement the distribution process
  • Set up the distribution site and make sure it is appropriate to allow good crowd management, flow, giving prioritization for old PWD, protection and is best suited to avoid fraud.
  • Organize the distribution process and make sure all necessary equipment is available.
  • Monitor the stamping process and make sure it is done according to procedures and that only registered beneficiaries are served.
  • Record all commodity transactions at all levels of operation.
 
Education & Experience:
  • University degree and one year of relevant professional experience in a similar setting and capacity will be preferred.
  • Good organizational Skills.
  • Good knowledge of the area of intervention.
  • Skills related to participatory research methods, and computer literacy.
  • Communication skills to operate with a multinational and multilingual team.
