Organization & Background:
YFCA is a leading, Humanitarian, non-Governmental, non-Profit, non-denominational, and impartial Organization established in 1976 to improve woman and child health. Dramatic changes in the YFCA mandate were introduced gradually to accommodate the emerging needs of women, children, youth, and vulnerable groups. From that Health perspective, YFCA programs incorporate wider thematic interventions including WASH, Shelter, and Nutrition, Food Security, Agriculture and Livelihood, Education, Early Recovery, and Protection. To pursue its unchanging humanitarian mission, YFCA will thoughtfully continue its expansion process to respond to the ever-changing needs of affected communities and vulnerable groups.
Job Purpose
S/he will support CCCM teams’ day-to-day management of data and processes, ensuring consistency and quality of data from regular information collection (e.g. partner reporting, service mapping, service indicator monitoring/site monitoring). Compile data received from field teams, conducting data cleaning as necessary. Update and maintain databases. Collaborate with CCCM Officer and field teams to design and improve tools and processes for regular and periodic activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement CCCM activities as requested by CCCM Officer and CCCM Coordinator such as but not limited to.
- Lead in making sure information management tools are updated regularly
- Assisting in carrying out assessments and surveys within the site
- Managing CCCM team’s database and information management tools updating data daily.
- Ensure timely and adequate registration of IDPs in camp, including identification of persons with specific needs in coordination with protection partners.
- Compile and enter beneficiary and project information into databases from regularly collected (handwritten) registration forms and lists of CCCM project; update and revise data when details change.
- Preparing and sorting project documents.
- Compile, sort, and organize data to be entered into the databases or electronic files.
- Entering data into database software and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted.
- Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete documents.
- Scan documents and print files, when needed also keep all information confidential.
- Maintain and update workflow records regarding work completed and work pending.
- Database for tracking beneficiaries reached under the different interventions.
- Assist other administrative staff in filing, archiving, typing, and other tasks as necessary.
- Builds and maintains effective relationships, with their team, colleagues, Members, and external partners and supporters.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- BA or Diploma in Information Technology (IT) or any other related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in a similar setting and capacity.
- Advanced understanding of Excel databases and data entry and ability to design Excel/Access databases.
- Excellent computer skills, with strong typing skills in English and Arabic and knowledge of MS Word.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data management.
- Ability to analyze and understand data, organizing into visual representations - diagrams/charts.
- Previous experience with assessments, surveys, and evaluations preferred.
- Good conceptual understanding of gender, protection, and human rights
- Ability to write reports and situational briefings in English
- Ability to spend extended periods of time in field conditions.
- Spoken and written Arabic and English is essential.
