Marib, Yemen –YFCA, funded by YHF, implemented an emergency water trucking initiative in Marib Al Wadi district, Marib Governorate as part of the Provision of Integrated Life-Saving Health, Nutrition, WASH Interventions for the Most Vulnerable Communities Including Cholera Outbreak Hotspots in Ma'rib Al Wadi at Marib &Amp; Khab Wa Asha'f at Aljawf. Project. The project aims to provide 20,000 liters of potable water daily to 1,408 beneficiaries across IDP collective sites and host communities for two months. YFCA strategically positioned water distribution points to minimize travel distances and reduce protection risks.
To ensure water quality, YFCA conducts random tests from mobile water tanks serving IDP camps. This intervention is part of YFCA’s ongoing efforts to address the humanitarian needs of conflict-affected communities in Yemen, working closely with partners to provide essential services.
