In a significant development for healthcare services in Marib, YFCA provided medical support in Marib governorate, throught the project "Provision of integrated life-saving health, nutrition, WASH interventions for the most vulnerable communities including cholera outbreak hotspots in Ma'rib Al Wadi at Marib & Khab wa ASha'f at Aljawf". This activity, has been pivotal in the operational support of Alwahda Hospital, a key medical facility in the region.
Furthermore, YFCA has bolstered its healthcare outreach by deploying a dedicated Emergency Mobile Medical Team (EMMT). This strategic move ensures that essential medical services are delivered effectively to those in need.
As of the end of February, the impact of these efforts is evident in the numbers. An impressive total of 2,730 beneficiaries have received vital medical services from both Alwahda Hospital and the EMMT. Of these, 2,363 individuals accessed comprehensive healthcare services at Alwahda Hospital, while an additional 370 benefited from the prompt and efficient services of the EMMT.
This initiative not only highlights YFCA’s dedication to improving healthcare access but also underscores the importance of community-focused projects in enhancing the quality of life for the people of Marib.
