YFCA was one of nine CSOs passed this phase upon participation in a training workshop conducted for 30 CSOs in 2012. YFCA was honored for the completion of 8 administrative, financial and programmatic operational manuals.   

Ms. Al-Khowja added that the second phase included the evaluation of the operational manuals which were developed by YFCA during March 2013 and then those manuals were enhanced and updated by consultants and supported by RGP to be qualified for ISO 9001:2008.

M. Al-Khowja pointed out that YFCA was amongst 91 CSOs which participated in the second phase and obtained a participatory certificate in a ceremony arranged by CBA in the mid of Dec 2013 to celebrate the participated CSOs in the second phase of the Institutional Strengthening Project, this ceremony was attended by representatives from Social Affairs and Labor Ministry, USAID and Sana’a University.

Ms. Al-Khowja concluded that the third phase will focus on the usage of operational manuals developed so that YFCA will obtain ISO 9002-2008. She reassured that YFCA is eligible to obtain this certificate and this can reflect the quality services provided by YFCA to public.
