In coordination General Authority for Rural Water Projects (GARWSP), Yemen Family Care Association (YFCA) provided three water wells in two districts - Shabwah Gov. (Al-Shaq & Gif Bin Atef water supply systems in Jardan district and Al-Walgah water supply system in Ataq district) with total operational support (fuel) of 4,000  liters for (Jan/2023). The total targeted beneficiaries from this activity are 12,050 individuals.

This activity is considered as one of the activities in the framework of the ongoing project of WASH and humanitarian food assistance for IDPs, host communities, returnees, and marginalized groups in six districts of Shabwah Governorate-Yemen, which is funded by the German Humanitarian Assistance (AA) in partnership with Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH).

The activity aimed to ensure an easy access for the beneficiaries to safe drinking water.
