In order to alleviate the suffering of the displaced families due to the difficult living conditions and armed conflict, Yemen Family Care Association (YFCA) rapidly responded to IDPs by providing emergency cash assistance  to 77 targeted households of IDPs in the third stage, that meet the targeting criteria of Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) activity through Focal Service Provider (FSP) distribution points in coordination with the FSAC clusters, executive unit of IDPs, local authorities and community leaders in two targeted districts (Bayhan & Ataq districts) of Shabwah Gov.  Hence, each beneficiary household had received an amount around 125,100 Yemeni Rials.

RRM activity is considered one of the activities in the framework of the ongoing project of WASH and humanitarian food assistance for IDPs, host communities, returnees and marginalized groups in six districts of Shabwah Governorate-Yemen, which is funded by the German Humanitarian Assistance (AA) in partnership with Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH).

This activity aims to provide first & second-lines response to the most affected households of IDPs, where the response process was conducted according to Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) project protocol.
