YFCA had the pleasure of inviting Mrs. Amat Al-Bari Al-Aadhi, the senior consultant of Social Fund for Development in Yemeni handicrafts and cultural heritage with her long and rich experience in this field. Through a presentation, Mrs. Al-Aadhi discussed her project, “Protect the Woman and Empower her in the Current Crisis”. The discussion highlighted the project's outputs and outcomes, focusing on how it positively impacted the targeted Yemeni women and their families. The project gave these women new skills and the ability to generate sufficient income, and also helped to train their family members - female and male youths. The project was spread across 5 governorates and targeted 200 women. YFCA gained valuable insights from such case studies and is looking forward to having more such projects that will help in growing and expanding the association’s activities.
