YFCA started the training of 8 Community Hygiene Volunteers ( CHVs ) on key hygiene promotion messages, community mobilization approach and RCCE for COVID-19 pandemic in Ataq district of Shabwah governorate. The main objective of this training is to enhance the capacity of the team by increasing their capability to develop the knowledge of the community on COVID-19. As well as, to expand the general knowledge on this virus and to track the spread of the virus. Besides, the volunteers will illuminate the targeted communities on many related aspects:
•    Measurement ways to protect health.
•    Prevent the spread of these outbreak diseases.
•    Promoting hygiene
•    Prevent infection with diarrhea and water diseases.
Thus, 128 hygiene promotion sessions including RCCE for COVID-19  will be conducted as two sessions per month through each hygiene promoter over 8 months.
