Seven years of conflict in Yemen have occurred many interruptions over the facilities' accessibility. The fuel crisis was one of the toughest, which in turn, has hampered the delivery of safe water to families. From this point of stand, YFCA provided financial support to supply fuel to the water trucks. Hence, water access would be available to the communities in a sustainable way.
As a next step, during July and August, YFCA will cover 90% of the total diesel cost of operating Al-Aomarah water well by subsidizing the local water and sanitation institution in Damt district with a total of over 9000 liters of diesel. This fuel will support ensure a daily supply of safe water for almost 17000 individuals across the district.
