YFCA team has just finished distributing one thousand basic Hygiene kits (BHKs) and one thousand consumable hygiene kits (CHKs) to a thousand beneficiaries in Alhusah district, Aldhale’e governorate. Those beneficiaries are children under five years old, pregnant and lactating women who suffer from malnutrition, in addition to people who are suspected to have cholera. Moreover, basic hygiene kits (BHKs) contain 2 Kilograms of washing powder, 15 bars of handwashing soap, 5 Cotton towels, 5 sanitary pads, a plastic jug, Stainless Steel Nail scissor, 2 Mirrors, 2 plastic Hair Combs, 2 Jerry cans, and a Plastic Basin while consumable hygiene kits (CHKs) contain 10 Soap bars and 2 Kilograms of washing powder. The distribution of basic hygiene kits and consumable hygiene kits encourages families to have a more hygienic lifestyle since hygiene is critical for preventing the spread of infectious diseases and helping people lead long, healthy lives. Additionally, the hygiene kits were supplied by UNICEF, and distribution costs were funded by YHF.
