Funded by Yemen ‎Humanitarian Fund (YHF) and implemented by Yemen Family ‎Care Association ‎‎(YFCA), 8 nominated community volunteers have conducted awareness sessions in the field of Hygiene promotion to IDPs and host community ‎at‎ Alhusha -dis, Aldhale Gov. ‎This activity was implemented under the framework of providing the necessary ‎awareness in ‎the field of promoting public hygiene and effective community ‎participation to enhance the community's ‎behaviors in general hygiene and ‎environmental sanitation. The awareness sessions have started in Alhusha district in January 2022 until now and will continue for another month. Moreover, each hygiene promoter conducts two sessions for around 10-15 individuals per session. During this month (May), the volunteers conducted 16 sessions for 125 individuals. Thus, the total number of individuals who have benefited from this activity till now is 1374 individuals.‎ Now, the targeted beneficiaries are more aware of some topics that helps raising the awareness of the community, such as the safe and unsafe water sources and the relationship between WASH and the different aspects of life
