A hygiene promotion training course was held for 10 individuals (5 males- 5 females) in Damt district of Al-Dhale' governorate. Right after the training, the trainees started to ‎conduct awareness sessions on some topics that will help raising awareness for the local community of the mentioned district in the importance of self-hygiene, the causes, the dangers, and the precautions of COVID-19. Moreover, the beneficiaries received some general information about the right way and duration of hands washing, as well as how to avoid infectious diseases such as cholera and other related messages. Those sessions started in April 2022 and will continue for four months. YFCA implemented this intervention within YHF fund.
