YFCA has trained and qualified hundreds of midwives

Having a long history and wide experience in training and qualifying community midwives.

YFCA has trained and qualified hundreds of midwives to provide high quality services using modern techniques and standards. 

In 2004, YFCA trained a number of midwives in coordination with Catalyst (An American Organization working to improve health situation in developing countries). 
In 2005, YFCA implemented a training programme for another group of midwives in coordination with YG-RHP ( Yemen - Germen reproductive Health Programme). 
In 2008, YFCA has been implementing a typical training programme funded by Social Marketing Project for Reproductive Health Services. The programme that has been conducted in collaboration with MOPHP, targets 180 community midwives in nine governorates, and consists of two parts, a theoretical part on RH Counseling, and a practical part on IUDs insertion and removal
