Community Health Services

Yemen is ranked 140 out of 182 countries in the Human Development Index of the UN, Yemen has a population of 23,495,361 people, where residents live in urban areas and 70% in rural areas are distributed to more than 130,000 localities posing a challenge in the delivery of public services.
The health indicators are lower compared to countries of the Middle East, where the maternal mortality rate 365 per 100,000 live births and is one of the highest rates in the world, the rate of neonatal mortality 73 deaths per 1,000 live births and the infant mortality rate is 69 deaths per 1000 live births and the mortality rate of children under five 78.2 per 1,000 live births, due the rise in health indicators to poor coverage of health services, providing reproductive health services in 60% of the facilities that provide health services, birth under the supervision of medical staff qualified 36% and the rate of women receiving care during pregnancy, 47% and the rate of the use of family planning methods among women 32.1%.
  Due to privacy demographic reality in Yemen worked Assembly in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health and Population to adopt a mechanism contributing to facilitate access to services where it began in 1997, running the first mobile clinic to provide reproductive health services and family planning and managed Assembly through its unique experience and successful access to health services to remote areas and needy and disadvantaged and Assembly currently manages eight mobile clinics provide high-quality services in more than 140 points in 11 provinces.
