Angam Abdo Mahdi Al-Husami, a 35-year-old mother of three, lives in Raima Governorate, next to Al-Hodidah Governorate. During her last month of pregnancy, Angam began to feel signs of labor. One of the midwives in her area tried to help her give birth naturally, but Angam was suffering from placenta progression, and the midwife couldn’t control the situation. Therefore, Angam was referred to Bait-Alfaqeh hospital for emergency obstetric care. Upon arrival at Bait-Alfaqeh hospital, Angam was exhausted and in excruciating pain after enduring a long and difficult journey to receive emergency obstetric care. Despite her weakened state, the medical staff provided her with immediate first aid and intravenous fluids to stabilize her condition. However, her blood pressure remained dangerously low, and she required an emergency cesarean delivery. As Angam lay on the operating table, the medical team worked tirelessly to ensure her safety and that of her unborn baby. The procedure was challenging and intense, but the team never wavered in their commitment to providing quality care. After two long hours of close attention and services, Angam’s baby was born healthy, and both mother and child were placed under observation. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Angam’s husband expressed his heartfelt thanks to the health staff at Bait-Alfaqeh hospital.
