Emergency Cash Assistance was transferred to 123 HHs of newly IDPs in four targeted districts in Shabwah Governorate

In order to alleviate the suffering of the displaced families due to the difficult living conditions and armed conflicts, Yemen Family Care Association (YFCA) rapidly responded to IDPs by providing emergency cash assistance to 123 targeted households of IDPs into two stages, that meet the targeting criteria of Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) activity through Focal Service Provider (FSP) distribution points in coordination with the CCCM & FSAC clusters, executive unit of IDPs, local authorities and community leaders in four targeted districts (Bayhan, Jardan, Ataq & Ursaylan districts) of Shabwah Gov.  Hence, each beneficiary household had received an amount between 111,900 and 116,700 Yemeni Rials.
RRM activity is considered as one of the activities in the framework of the ongoing project of WASH and humanitarian food assistance for IDPs, host communities, returnees and marginalized groups in six districts of Shabwah Governorate-Yemen, which is funded by the German Humanitarian Assistance (AA) in partnership with Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH).
This activity aims to provide first and second-lines responses to the most affected households of IDPs, while the response process was conducted according to Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) project protocol.
